Living Lord, speak again your Word to us
in the words we speak and hear

Jesus, they called you Teacher -
teach us in this time and place
inspire us with your very own spirit
so that we may follow you step for step. Amen.

Bless us, and these tokens of our service, and bless others through us. To your glory, Amen. Dedication of the offering (please stand) In our giving and receiving, may your light of love shine! In our comings and goings, our work and our rest may your light of love shine! In the work of your church, here and through all the world may your light of love shine! Lord bless these gifts and these givers with the warmth of your peace. And together the people said: AMEN! Dedication of the offering (please stand) We stand and we give and we say – Thank you We share and we live and we go in peace We choose to give thanks and we choose to be give freely for we have been blessed more than we can repay. Lord bless us and these gifts for your service. And together the people said – AMEN! James 1:18-18 17 Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.[a] 18 In fulfillment of his own purpose he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures. Dedication of the offering – 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, but the same Lord is served. There are different abilities to perform service, but the same God gives ability to all for their particular service. The Spirit's presence is shown in each person for the good of all. God bless us as we receive and as we give. God bless our gifts and multiply them for your Kingdom, through Christ our Lord. And together the people said – Amen! Prayer by St. Ignatius of Loyola Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my entire will, all I have and call my own. You have given all to me. To you, Lord, I return it. Everything is yours; do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace, that is enough for me. |
